Wonderful Winter Acrostic Poems
December 2001
We created winter association word lists and chose our favorite winter word. Using each letter of the word we chose, we created our wonderful winter poems! Mrs. Dingman challenged us to try using alliteration in as many lines as we could. It was fun to try to create sentences or phrases using as many words as we could that began with the same letter as the first one on the line.

Christmas is coming
Hope for good presents
Rudolf is guiding the sleigh
I believe in Santa
Santa is lucky to have Rudolf
To get presents you have to be good
Merry Christmas
