The words included in each Spelling list are words that appear often in our Reading selections found in Harcourt's Trophies, or found in novels our class will be enjoying. The list of words will usually be grouped to follow certain letter patterns; vowel and/or consonant patterns. Yes... Phonics instruction is still around!!
