A cinquain is a simple five-line poem that follows a certain pattern. We used this poetry form to tell more about ourselves, as we continue to become acquainted with our new classmates. We described ourselves using adjectives, listed activities we enjoyed, decided what would make us a good friend to others, and included a nickname if we had one. Hope you enjoy getting to know us!
The gingerbread people were chosen to help decorate this page for a special reason. Please ask your child about the interesting art activity that went along with our poetry writing. Yes... I really do have scissors for them to use... just not this time!
